December Family Month

This december 2009, members of RC Bali Kuta, Yoyok, Suastika, Winaya, Al, Marina, Ratna, Sudarma, Giri, Erika and spouse, spouse of Suastika and their twin Devy and Fidi spent the night at the Cempaka Belimbing Villas with 15 Rotaractors of Rotaract Club Bali Kuta celebrate the Family Month and visiting club projects as well. We had so much fun with the children, we brought 1750 more reading books to our Suradadi Village Library:
Our other project on the 5 villages are to give 4 computers to each of the 5 elementary schools. We think that without the knowledge of computers and having books the children will be on the lower side when they go to higher schools. The Rotarians and Rotaractors in turn give them lessons, and they are so enthusiastic to learn. We also hear from the teachers that they stay in schools until late at night, and even on sundays they are also in schools. On 2 of the schools the teachers and the principals have never seen any computers, so they should learn as well to compeet with their school children:
We all were trekking to the most stunning rice-terraces in Bali, and while trekking visit and control our water Project at Karyasari villages that benefit more than 1600 people, the children become healthier and can learn better and the adults are healthier that they can work better.
After 2 days of fun, work and communicating between Rotarians and Rotaractors and some spouses, also with the villagers, we have some parties, special village food and everyone love durian fruits on pool side, Relax:
We have felt we were a big family and everyone were so happy that we decided to do this kind of family day more often. And most stunning, the spouse of Winaya, Mrs Uniek who is a manager of Sequislife decided to become Rotarian. Welcome Uniek, and after 3 times meeting we will charter her. Rotary Club Bali Kuta
