It took me 23 hours of flying time to fly from Bali to Rochester, 5 Hours DPS-HKG, 4 hours lay over, 13 hours fly from HKG – YVR, 3 hours lay over, then 4,5 hours YVR – JFK, 3 hours lay over then 1,5 hours with small plane from JFK to Rochester.

To do more in Nias, together with other clubs in Indonesia we formed a committee “Nias rebuilding Projects” Chaired by PP Betty Muliadinata from RC Jakarta Metropolitan who now joined RC Jakarta Sentral and PP Atik from RC Jakarta Selatan who flew very often to Nias.

Rotary Club Bali Kuta was chartered on 30 June 1989 with club sponsor RC Bali Sanur, and a few years later RC Bali Kuta sponsored RC Bali Nusa Dua and RC Bali Seminyak.
