In the beginning of 2008 Rtn. Stew Martin led some 12 Rotarians include some PDG’s David Jay, Ron Keleman, Cathy Keleman, DGE Barbara Crozier and Rtn Tom Crozier and others, their trip started inAceh, Jakarta, Yogya, Surabaya and Bali. RC Bali Kuta hosting them some days at Cempaka Belimbing Villas and resulting several service projects. They also made Projects with other clubs they visited.

One afternoon we read books with the village children, the visiting Rotarians were very impressed with the sessions, Rotarian Gobind spelt the children and Rotarians with tricks and games. We all had lovely time with the children. The winners were crying with happines to get bicycles.

This visit from Oregonian was so succesfull, a lot of things happening, a lot of fellowship and International communications, a lot of friendships and also resulting a lot of projects. In oregon they make “Project Fairs” every year, and in 2009 they invited several Rotarians from different countries like Argentina, Brazil, Uganda, Mexico and Indonesia. From Indonesia was represented by DGE Al Purwa and here are some shots:

As a result of this fair, I was on the tube and some MGs were born such as Water Project Karyasari for 1600 people, Books and computers for 5 elementary schools and many other projects with other clubs.

Fellowship is on going, exchange experiences and life are communicated internationally and good feeling to have friends all over the world.
